The Fusiliers Museum of Northumberland strives to meet the needs of families and is committed to the principle of lifelong learning. It is hoped that all visitors - children and adults alike - will learn about the bravery and courage of the men who served in the Regiment. Teachers who might be interested in arranging a school visit to the Museum are encouraged to contact staff to arrange a preparatory meeting with Museum staff to discuss the visit. Please contact the Museum on 01665 602152 and staff will be happy to discuss your plans. Please note that there is no classroom or similar space available at the Museum. Numbers School parties should not exceed a single class. Please also note that the spiral stairs to the upper floors of the museum are narrow and steep and children should be warned to take care when climbing them. Facilities Alnwick Castle has a cafe, a restaurant, toilets and car/coach parking facilities. If the weather is fine the children can picnic in the castle grounds. |
